Nicola is a partner at Hausfeld & Co, specialising in collective redress and group claims.
Since joining Hausfeld in 2009 she has helped develop rights of redress for claimants in the competition field, having acted in a number of large-scale competition damages claims in the UK courts and in Europe. She is currently acting in two opt-out collective actions before the Competition Appeal Tribunal and represented the Consumers’ Association (Which?) in its intervention in MasterCard -v- Merricks before the Supreme Court in 2020. Nicola participated in the Competition Appeal Tribunal working group on the implementation of the UK Consumer Rights Act and the European Damages Directive and is a member of the Commercial Court User Group.
