David is Head of the Class Action and Finance Litigation department at Edwin Coe LLP.
He specialises in commercial litigation including competition claims and claims on behalf of shareholders. David was articled with Edwin Coe and qualified in 1980, becoming a Partner in 1984 and Senior Partner in April 2011. He has significant experience in collective litigation in front of the Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT), High Court and Competition Commission. David was the 176th President of the Law Society of England & Wales. He has been a member of the Civil Procedure Rules Committee and the Civil Justice Council. He is the author and editor of various works on civil justice including “Shareholder Claims” and is Consultant Editor of the New Law Journal.
